It started at Vasai station, twelve years ago.

Twelve years ago, our founder painted his first wall at Vasai station in Mumbai, working alongside underprivileged artists who found real joy in the craft. That experience became the seed of Bombay Mural. Today we are a team of 100 artists — over half from underprivileged backgrounds — for whom art has become a path to opportunity and dignity.

A painting sits in someone's home; a mural walks into people's everyday lives — on their commute, outside their office, at a station they pass every day. It's unforgiving work: you can't hide a mistake on a 30-foot wall. And it brings real opportunities — brands, builders, public commissions — to artists who wouldn't otherwise get them. That's why we started with murals, and why they'll always be our core.

The work we're proudest of: India's longest themed mural — the story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, painted across 10,000 square feet as one continuous piece of history people pass every day.
